And what would Jamaicans do without music!! – Toronto International Jamaica Day Celebration presents live non-stop entertainment from start to finish, with a showcase that is unraveled. From story tellers, dancers, African drumming to our great comedians we have it all. This event is known for presenting it’s audience with some of the best reggae artist in the world so, just when you think that you have seen it all our stage comes alive with some of the best local and International artist to grace any stage in the world.

“Suh who av di domino” Clubs from all over North America will be lining up to take part in the annual TIJD domino tournament.

Jamaicans love there sports and TIJD provides a wide verity for young and old alike. Soccer, relay race, sack race and the three legged race are all staples of this event just to name a few.

Children’s Programs

Dynamic programming designed for children of all ages. With and emphasis on having fun this day is all about celebrating Jamaica culture and family way of life.
Children can take part in a verity of traditional games like dandy shandy, wheelbarrow race, egg and spoon race and face painting.

The midway rids will provide them with lots to talk about, from the time they enter the park and will creating lasting memories.

Jamaica Information Service (JIS) will once again be showcasing the cultural activities of Jamaica in there booth through a visual presentation.
